Edson Arantes Do Nascimento – Pelé is considered by many to be the world’s greatest ever footballer.He scored an amazing 1281 goals during his career and is the only player to have won three FIFA World Cups™.This exceptional presentation contains a special edition shirt embroidered Mexico 1970 which is personally signed by Pele. Next to this is the iconic image of Pele exchanging shirts with Bobby Moore after their classic encounter in the 1970 World Cup.Finally there is an engraved plaque with the text:- The 1970 World Cup in Mexico was to be Pelé's last. Brazil's squad for the tournament featured Rivelino Jairzinho Gérson Tostão and Clodoaldo which is now widely considered as one of the greatest football teams of all time.Brazil met Italy in the final where Pelé scored the opener and set up goals for Jairzinho and Carlos Alberto. Brazil won the match 4-1 keeping the Jules Rimet Trophy indefinitely.The finals also captured one of the most famous images in Football history; Pele exchanging shirts with the late and great Bobby Moore.The shirt was personally signed by Pelé at an closed Spirit of Sport signing on 19 April 2007 in London and a photo of Pelé signing is supplied with this item.
